I started BlueSky in 2008 with a used service van, a TACL license, and eight years of experience working under the best HVAC tech I have ever known. No investors. No franchise. Yes, we charge a diagnostic fee of $99 for all service calls. This covers the cost of our technician's time to properly diagnose your system. If you proceed with the repair, that $99 is credited toward your total invoice. Maintenance plan members receive waived diagnostic fees on covered visits.
Q3. How quickly can you get to my home in an emergency?
For maintenance plan members, same-day emergency service is our commitment during business hours and next-morning priority after hours. For non-plan customers during peak summer season, typical response is 24-48 hours. Call us directly and tell us your situation — we will do what we can.
Q4. What brands of equipment do you install and service?
We are authorised Carrier and Lennox dealers, and we service all major brands including Trane, Daikin, Goodman, Rheem, and American Standard. Our preference is Carrier and Lennox because we know those systems inside and out and the manufacturer support in our area is excellent — but we will always give you an honest comparison if you are choosing between brands.
Q5. Is my equipment under warranty and what does it cover?
Most new Carrier and Lennox systems come with a 10-year parts warranty when registered properly after installation — something we handle for every customer we install for. Labor warranties vary. Our 90-day workmanship guarantee covers our labor on everything we touch. If you are unsure about your existing warranty status, call Sandra and she can help you look it up at no charge.
Q6. Can I trust a small company for a large system replacement?
That is a fair question and one we respect you for asking. BlueSky has completed hundreds of full system replacements in Garland and surrounding areas over 17 years. We carry full liability insurance, all required state licensing, and we pull permits for every installation where required by code. The advantage of a small company is accountability — when Mike installs your system, Mike is the one who answers when you call. You will never be transferred to a call centre.
